Ask Aimee: What are standard blind spots?

Updated: Nov 27

Hi lovelies,

YOU could have standard blind spots. It's what happens when you have some idea of what you want, but not the full picture.

For example, Janie wants a job that pays $100k a year. She has standards that filter only for jobs that pay that much and above.

She gets a new job making $105k! But then she realizes they don't offer great healthcare and she was better off financially before.

Janie had a standard blind spot... she needed not just a salary standard, but a standard around healthcare too since that's something she values greatly.

Sometimes we learn our blind spots the hard way (I know I have). But, we can also learn them through healing and seeing other people's standards we wish to adopt!
